we were was part of the Välillä Väärässä exhibition, organized by Aalto University and the City of Imatra, Finland. the exhibition ran from the 24th to the 31st of august, 2025.

for its soundscape, we dreamed of espionage, surveillance, data gathering, scraping, explosion—lots of explosion—but they are all tucked and hidden away behind the hotel’s reception lobby. quite dystopian stuff, legality is unknown, but hey, it’s surely profitable… right?
